Eleonora Open Wushu Cup - 2010 gathered 162 athletes from 20 teams from Belgium, Russia, Finland and Ukraine.
The team of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation has won the "Best School" award on I International Wushu Cup in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on March 06-07, 2010.
Ekaterina Iordanidi has won the "Best Athlete" Cup. Ekaterina Iordanidi won 6 first places from 6 events participated in her age category (18-29 years)
Alexaxnder Ivanov won 3 first places from 6 events participated in his age category (30+ years)
Anna Natarova won 4 first places from 5 events participated in her age category (16-18 years)

On 1st International Wushu Tournament in Almenno San Salvatore, Italy, the team of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation has won the main Cup and 32 medals.
147 athletes, 13 teams from St-Petersburg, Moscow, Kaliniingrad, Saratov, Tiumen,- have participated in the Open Championship of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation on June 06-07,2009.
International Tournament "Eleonora Open Wushu Cup", dedicated to 40-years anniversary of "Eleonora" Sports Club took place in St-Petersburg, Russia on November 15-16, 2008.
16 teams from Belgium, Estonia, Russia and Ukraine have participated.
The winners in all-round events enjoyed the excellent Cups that differentiated this competition from the other ones.
Open Cup of Azof Sea took place in Berdyansk, Ukraine, on July 14-16, 2008. The team of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation took 10 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronze medals.
Ninth Open Cup of National Wushu Federation gathered athletes from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Belgium on July 04-06, during the famous "white nights" season in St-Petersburg.
Selection Tournament of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation took place on April 02.
Kids from 5 to 12 years that practice Wushu for one year or less were participating. Many of them were able to try themselves on the carpet for the first time.
Parents could see how sporting Wushu raises not only health and physical skills, but also mental endurance and will to win.
On January 26 - February 07, 2008, 2nd International Seminar and Instruction course for Wushu judges and coaches took place in St-Petersburg, Russia, teached by Mr. Liu Tongwei, professor of Shanghai Sports University.
After the first seminar in August 2007, Mrs. Eleonora Volokontseva, president of National Wushu Federation of Russia, decided to organize the follow-up in order to give a chance to more people to get the information directly from the creator of modern International Wushu Competition rules.
Mr. Liu Tongwei, explained the news and the latest modifications in of groups A, B and C. During the practice hours, Mr. Liu Tondwei demonstrated the methods and exercices for training of the difficult movements.

VIII International Wushu Championship took place under Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries on February 09-10, 2008 in Helsinki, Finland.
110 athletes from 8 countries took part in the Championship: 22 teams from Azerbaijan, Estonia, Finland, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine.
As always, the Championship was open to all teams, schools, clubs and individuals.
The Championship goals are promotion of sporting Wushu, improvement of Wushu skills, exchange of experience between the athletes of the various countries, selection of the athletes into teams, promotion of healthy way of life, attracting countries to participating in competitions held by Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries.
By personal invitatation of CSAIN Association (Italy), the team of National Wushu Federation of Russia took part of International Company Sports Festival in Catania, Italy.
The Festival included modern and traditional Wushu competitions, headed by International Grade Wushu judges from Italy.
Our athletes - Ekaterina Iordanidi, Vlexandor Ivanov, Anastasia Tairova, Fedor Sozontov, leaded by Federation's Senior Coach Eleonora Volokontseva, - successfully performed in all events and won 6 Champion titles and 6 prize places.
Ekaterina Iordanidi won the Best Athlete's Cup assigned by the Organizing Committee of the Festival.
On September 15, 2007, our team performed at 7th Singapore National Wushu Display - large Wushu Festival that gathered around 10000 spectators in Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Every 2 years, Singapore National Wushu Federation invites the most skillful Wushu teams from all around the world to participate in this great event.
Our team has been invited for the second time, and performed along with best athletes from China, USA, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries and it is the great recognizion of our Federation and expertise of our senior trainer Eleonora Volokontseva.
Mr. Liu Tongwei, professor of Shanghai Sports University, is the worldwide-known and leading Wushu expert participated in the creation of International Wushu competition rules.
He is also a big friend of Mrs. Eleonora Volokontseva since a long time ago. She invited him to hold a seminar for Accredited Participators of Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries. The preparations took almost 2 years and finally, in August 02, 2007, Mr. Liu Tongwei came to St-Petesburg, accompanied by his assistant and translator, Mr. Wang Weiguo.
This year, the Open Cup of National Wushu Federation of Russia took place in July for the first time. High tourist seanson of "white nights" in St-Petersburg was the great time to hold our International wushu competition.

Open Championship of St-Petesburg Open Wushu Federation has been held in St-Petersburg on June 02-03, 2007. 125 athletes from Russia, Latvia and Ukraine participated in both basic 32-forms program and international forms program.
On March 05, 2007 in the residence of governement of St-Petersburg (Smolny) the final stage of 2nd Russian-Chinese Festival had place.
The experts in Chinese culture were speaking for the officials: Mrs. Eleonora Volokontseva (the history of the development of Wushu in Russia), prof. Nikolay Speshnev (lecture about Chinese psychology), prof. Alexander Kachan (diagnostics in Chinese medicine).
In the same evening, the official reception had place in the historical building of Smolny Cathedral where the team of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation performed the group demonstration.
VII International Tournament has been held in St-Petersburg, Russia, by Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries. 138 athletes, 20 teams from 6 countries took part of the competition. Vice-president of Finnish Wushu Federation, Mr. Niilo Kivirinta, noticed that the tournaments organized by Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries are traditionally among the best organized Wushu competitions in the World.
The International Tournament "Open Cup of National Wushu Federation of Russia - 2006" took place in St-Petersburg, traditionally, the last weekend of November. This time, we had 121 athlete and 21 teams from 4 countries. The competition, organized in the brand new stadium, got the warm greetings from Consul of China for education in St-Petersburg, Mr. LI Gochian and the "Vesti-Sport" TV company.
World Chin Woo Championship - 2006, organized by World Chin Woo Athletic Federation took place in London, UK on August 18, 2006. The St-Petersburg athletes from the team of National Chinwoo Federation of Russia, headed by Ms. Eleonora Volokontseva:

This year, on June 02-04, Open Championship of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation gathered 108 athletes from 5 regions of Russia, including St-Petersburg, Moscow, Saratov, Tiumen, Kaliningrad. The Championship is being held for 17 years already, but it becomes Open for the second time only.
On May 01-07, the team of National Wushu Federation of Russia successfully performed on the greatly organized 8th World Grand Wushu Festival in Shanghai, where 225 athletes from 16 countries have participated.
Our team members won 23 medals, including 12 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze.The leaders of the team were especially successful: Ekaterina Iordanidi took 6 first places from 7 events participated and Mikhail Gololobov - 3 first places from 5 events participated.
VI International Wushu Championship, organized by Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries, had been held in St-Petersburg, Russia, on February 24-26, 2006, with more 150 athletes from 7 countries participated.
For the first time, the team from USA took part of the competitions - the athletes from American Wushu Society, headed by Mr. Edward Aguirre. Mr. Edward Aguirre, well-known person in the world of Wushu, has been trained in the first Beijing Wushu team by Wu Bin and prepared the first professional Wushu team in USA. He greatly appreciated the high professional level of judges, athletes, organizing committee and the tournament at a whole. “In Wushu, I never met a person more dedicated to her profession and goal than Ms. Eleonora Volokontseva”, Aguirre said.
This year, the International Tournament "Open Cup of National Wushu Federation of Russia" has been held on the high level, as usually, and gathered the Wushu teams from 8 countries.
The real excitement for all athletes and organizers was the participation of brilliant Shanghai Wushu team, including Xie Fu Yan, the actual 3rd place in China in nanquan and nangun.
The team of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation had the great success with its performance on the International Martial Arts Festival
"The Way of Young Masters" held in Tallinn, Estonia on October 22, 2005. The other principal participants were the very high-level taekwondo team from North Korea and many teams from Estonia.
In July 2005, Eleonora Volokontseva, president of Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries and National Wushu Federation of Russia, organized the International seminar-practice in Shanghai Wushu Institute for coaches and athletes from 5 countries – Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Finland and Australia.
First Open Tallinn Wushu Championship, has been held in Tallinn, Estonia on May 07, 2005. The Championship has been organized by the young Federation of Sporting and Traditional Wushu of Estonia, which didn't have experience of organizing such big events before. That is why the young organization asked for help Mrs. Eleonora Volokontseva, president of Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries and the famous authority in the world of Wushu. Federation of Sporting and Traditional Wushu of Estonia asked Mrs. Eleonora to act as the chief referee of the tournament.
The annual Open Cup of National Wushu Federation of Russia has been held for the fifth time in St-Petersburg on November 26-28, 2004. This year, it was the record number of the Russian athletes - 158 competitors from 170. Also, the representatives from Estonia and Latvia took part in seminars and judgement.
International Wushu Fesival "Shen Dao 2004", organized by Shaolin Wushu Federation of Estonia in Tallinn on September 11, 2004, gathered many Wushu masters from the Baltic Countries and Russia.

In August 2004, the team of National Wushu Federation of Russia had the instruction course in Shanghai Wushu Institute. The course was teached by the famous coaches that trained the Champions of China and the trainings were made together with the Shanghai Wushu team.
After the instruction course, the team went to Beijing to take part of Beijing International Wushu Tournament, where we met the strong competitors from China, Malaysia, Ukraine and Russian Wushu Federation.
8th World Chinwoo Championships and 10th Jubilee International Polish Polish Wushu Championships took place in Warsaw, Poland, On July 03-04, 2004.
The athletes from St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation - senior coach Eleonora Volokontseva, - performed very successfully and won the titles of World Champions in Wushu Chinwoo and 28 prize places in sporting Wushu. Irina Mazepa has won the All-round Cup in the women individual competition.
8th International Wushu Tournament "Cup of Young Dragon", organized by Moscow Wushu Federation and National Wushu Federation of Russia took place in Moscow, Russia on June 30 - July 02, 2004. The teams from China, Russia, Italy, Ukraine and Azerbaijan have participated. The Cup in the team competition went to the team of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation (senior trainer Eleonora Volokontseva).
The Champions in the individual competitions are: Irina Mazepa (Russia, trainer Eleonora Volokontseva) and Andrey Koval (Ukraine, trainer Oleg Chukanov).
7th Shanghai World Grand Wushu Festival has been held on May 01-06, 2004 and gathered more than 300 athletes from 33 teams arrived from 23 countries around the World.
In the hard competition vs the athletes from China, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Philippines and other countries, the team of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation has won 23 prize places, including 8 first, 9 second and 6 third places.
President and senior trainer of St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation Mrs. Eleonora Volokontseva has been rewarded by the special diploma from the command of the Internal Military Forces of Russia:"for the help to the Internal Military Forces of Russia
in the accomplishment of the assigned missions".
On March 27, 2004, in the city of Bologna, Italy, St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation (president Mrs. Eleonora Volokontseva) and Italian Wushu Association (president Mr. Dan Sita) have signed the document about the fellowship between two organizations.
The goal of the fellowship is to develop and promote Wushu in our countries, exchange skills and organize the common international Wushu events.
Besides to the fellowship ceremony, the official visit of St-Petersburg Wushu Federation representatives to Italy included the large scale Wushu demonstration together with Italian team in 3 cities as well as the big cultural program.
The IV International Wushu Championship, organized by Wushu Association of Baltic and Nordic Countries, had place in St-Petersburg, Russia, on February 21-23, 2004.
8 countries, 22 teams and 162 athletes have participated: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Finland, Italy, India, Azerbaijan.
2 TV channels (5 channel and RTR channel) as well as St-Petersburg newspapers have reviewed the news about the Championship.

Cup of National Wushu Federation of Russia has been held successfully
in St-Petersburg on November 28-30, 2003. This tournament, fourth
in number, was a largest tournament by the nubmer of participants,
- more than 190 athletes, 20 teams, from the regions of Russia
and overseas.
The
St-Petersburg Sporting Wushu Federation demonstrated the outstanding
results in all age groups: 14 prizes places in all-round events,
including 5 first places.

8,000 spectators came to Singapore Indoor Stadium on Sunday,
September 28, to enjoy the 5th Singapore National Wushu Display.
In his welcome speech, Mr. Alex Chan, Chairman of Singapore
Sports Council, said:

performers from Russia, Myanmar, China and Hong Kong. These
top-class athletes include Russia's Irina Mazepa and Ekaterina
